So very sorry to hear of Dot's passing. She was a good neighbor and friend, I will always remember her. Also the cat, Cludy, that jumped into the clothes dryer! Thoughts and prayers to her family. May God be with you all.

- Grace Lynch, Savannah, GA

So very, very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Dot and Tom and the Whitfields in most of the places we lived in my childhood.... Montgomery/Prattville, Suffolk/Franklin, and Savannah. My favorite memory of Dot was with that whacky Siamese cat, Cludy?, who would stretch way far backwards over Dot's arms. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Mrs. Dot was a very sweet lady and will be missed by her neighbors. I will always hear her calling her cat in the evening to come in the house for the night. My prayers go out to the family. God bless you!! Sincerely, Barbara Wilson (neighbor)

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Dot to her family. May God be with you and comfort all the family at this time. She was a joy and a great friend to all the ladies in our Friendship Class and I shall miss her so very much. The humor and friendship this lady had was wonderful. I was very proud to call this special lady my friend and she will remain in my heart forever. Lou Barnes

Condolences to the family of Mrs. Whitfield. We were very fond of her and will greatly miss her. Bobby has wonderful memories of going next door to her home as a child. He enjoyed Mrs. Whitfield making him cookies and building things with her husband in the garage. She was a special lady and always made us laugh with her Alabama accent.

- Bobby, Michelle, & Jack Trenaman, Savannah, GA

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort in the promise at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
